• 2 years video production experience which includes an understanding of broadcast video and lighting
• A self-starter able to produce station promos from concept to completion - this includes writing scripts, shooting, editing, and production of graphics
• Drone experience / certification a plus

• 2 years experience using Adobe Creative Suite including but not limited to:, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop required
• 2 years video production experience which includes an understanding of broadcast video and lighting
• A self-starter able to produce station promos from concept to completion - this includes writing scripts, shooting, editing, and production of graphics
• Drone experience / certification a plus
• Background in design and motion graphics a bonus
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments on project development and assist with other duties as assigned
• Strong communication and organizational skills

WWBT, Richmond, VA has an immediate opening for a Technical Media Producer. A TMP combines the roles of a traditional newscast director and master control operator. A Successful candidate will have experience switching live television, be it in a newscast or a master control setting.
Responsibilities include monitoring and logging playback of multiple over the air channels. Monitor and edit automation playlists to ensure correct playback of programming and commercial content. Monitor air to ensure WWBT is adhering to FCC and station guidelines. Ingest commercial content and programming from multiple sources including but not limited to Satellite feeds, FTP delivery, Pitchblue, and Pathfire. Direct newscasts using Ross Overdrive. Operate robotic studio cameras. Assign wireless mics and IFBs to talent as needed. Strong computer and communications skills are required. Knowledge of Crispin automation and Ross Overdrive are both a definite plus. WWBT operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week. A successful candidate may be asked to work any shift including weekends or holidays. 3 – 5 years experience is preferred.
