Email Marketing Coordinator, CNBC

Responsibilities
The Email Marketing Coordinator will assist in the development and execution of all email marketing campaigns for CNBC and our partners. This role will also assist the Marketing department on multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet marketing goals. This person should be creative, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, as well as have knowledge of current email best practices, HTML and CSS.
• Build email campaigns, database entry, HTML presentation and quality assurance of all outbound campaigns
• Assist with list management of all customer data within the database to include opt-out management, hard bounce management, and new subscriber uploads
• Assist in developing comprehensive reports detailing all key email marketing metrics including delivery, open rates, click rates, conversion, opt-out, and segmentation analysis
• Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns
• Coordinate newsletter content with the editorial team to ensure our content is as timely and relevant as possible
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution, as required
• Assist with creation and uploading of graphics in Adobe Photoshop
• Perform quality assurance checks for all email launches
• Assist in developing marketing plans to grow database
• Support the Sr. Director with all projects related to this position

The Ad Sales Finance Director for News, FAST, and Portfolio Reporting will oversee core ad sales finance processes for NBC News (NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, and Today) and NBCUs growing portfolio of Virtual/FAST Channels. The role will also manage NBCUs digital portfolio reporting process with exposure to all sites and streaming platforms across the NBCU digital portfolio.

+ This role will have significant exposure to revenue-related finance/pricing for these growing and dynamic businesses. The director will oversee Ad Sales Finance responsibilities for all News properties as well as portfolio estimates for the Virtual/FAST channels, including:

+ Revenue forecasting (annual budget, quarterly forecasts, long range plan, monthly operational reviews and other estimates and presentations as required)

+ Analyze and report sales risks and opportunities against targets by identifying core drivers (ie: traffic, pricing, sell-thru, etc.)

+ The role is also responsible for managing the digital & streaming reporting process for the entire NBCU portfolio, ensuring that revenue reporting is timely and accurate. This includes interfacing with BI, Ad Product Teams, and internal finance teams to ensure that new initiatives and products are properly setup for weekly reporting.

+ Own core ad sales revenue functions across all digital platforms (Desktop, Mobile, Social, Video on Demand, Connected TV, dMVPD, etc.)

+ Responsible for key sales finance functions including general ledger postings of actuals/accruals and maintaining high levels of controllership in the ad sales process

+ Coordinate with billing team to ensure that billing, revenue recognition and sales pacing are aligned, billing adjustments/barter agreements/revenue shares are managed correctly, etc.

+ Represent Ad Sale Finance function with internal digital media counterparts on key initiatives (ie: research/measurement changes, systems enhancement, etc.)

+ Work with Digital Media Planning/Strategy and Sales Leadership in core Sales Functions:
