The primary purpose of the Sales and Use Tax Division of the Department of Revenue is to administer tax policy, provide technical direction, and create and provide forms with respect to Sales and Use, Public Transportation, Motor Vehicle Lease and Subscription, Scrap Tire Disposal, White Goods Disposal, Dry-Cleaning Solvent, Solid Waste Disposal Taxes, and the 911 Service Charge for Prepaid Wireless Telecommunications Service.
