As a Junior Financial/Business Analyst you will be part of the team providing financial management and support to Nine’s News and Current affairs departments. These departments produce Nine’s nationwide local news bulletins, A Current Affair, Today, Today Extra and 60 Minutes. They also look after the Canberra, Los Angeles and London news bureaus.

Qualifications

The Content Partnerships Executive is responsible for supporting the Content Partnerships Managers and the broader Content Partnerships team in the packaging, presenting and implementation of content driven solutions. Job Description

The Nine Publishing Technology team build and maintain some of the most highly respected and visited websites and mobile apps in Australia, including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Australian Financial Review, as well as their content management systems, services and middleware.

What you’ll be doing:
• Crafting world-class web applications & interfaces using TypeScript / ReactJS / Node.js / HTML5 / styled-components / Express & Webpack
• Working in small autonomous Agile squads
• Building the next generation news experience used by millions

Qualifications

What we’re looking for
• Commercial experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS
• Strong, proven UI development skills
• Able to accurately translate sketch files into high quality responsive markup
• Able to write modular, clean CSS from the ground up
• A solid understanding of semantics and accessibility
• Excellent problem solving skills
• A self-starting, inquisitive nature
• Testing and quality focused

Bonus Points
• Experience using Javascript testing frameworks and libraries such as React Testing Library & Jest
• Experience using styled-components
• Exposure to Docker
