The Product, Strategy & Support team is responsible for collaborating with Markets leadership to support the development of business strategy, define the strategic vision for the Market Group’s technology Products and for ensuring the portfolio of initiatives aligns with and provides value to the Group’s mission and objectives. The Markets Transformation program vision is to evolve our trading and foreign customer banking businesses technology to effectively support monetary policy implementation, global financial stability and the role of the US Dollar as the global reserve currency.
The Product Owner – Markets Transformation – Auction and Trading will drive the monetary policy auction and trading product development from inception thru implementation. The auction and trading product covers secondary market auction model trading for Money Markets Repo and Reverse Repo operations, Treasury Securities outright purchase and sale and securities lending operations and MBS Security outright purchase and sale capabilities as well as market trading of foreign currency and foreign reserve holdings as well as treasury securities on behalf of our foreign central banking customers.
Your role as Product Owner – Markets Transformation – Auction and Trading:
• Defines and communicates clear product vision and roadmaps with measurable outcomes; works with technology partners to ensure integration to the Bank technology roadmap.

The Markets Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York implements monetary policy on behalf of the Federal Reserve System, executes lender of last resort operations for depository institutions in the Second District, provides payments and custody services to foreign central banks, and acts as fiscal agent for the U.S. Treasury.
As part of these responsibilities, the mission of the trading desk in the Markets Group is to:
• Implement domestic open market and foreign currency operations in a manner that is consistent with the FOMC authorization and directives.
• Monitor and analyze global financial markets to inform the formulation and implementation of monetary and fiscal stability policy.
• Produce New York Fed Reference Rates
• Provide capital markets-related fiscal agency and other services to the U.S. Treasury.

We are looking for an Associate Director to manage a staff unit on the Mortgage Markets team. As a member of the team, you will monitor and analyze developments across mortgage markets to inform the formulation and implementation of monetary and financial stability policy. In addition, we conduct agency mortgage-backed security (MBS) operations based on the FOMC's directives. You will report to the Director of the team.
Your role as Associate Director on the Mortgage Markets Team:
• Lead a high-performing team of professionals responsible for market monitoring, analysis, and open market operations with respect to the agency MBS market in support of monetary and financial stability policy, working closely with colleagues across the desk.
• Promote an inclusive, collaborative, diverse, and transparent workplace to attract, develop and retain talent.
• Manage relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders across the Federal Reserve System, the housing agencies, regulators, the U.S. Treasury, and private sector market participants to achieve business and policy objectives.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, and in partnership with communicators and creatives, you will design and deliver marketing and communication campaigns and events that support change and transformation programs while creating powerful moments that reflect our employer brand and leaves employees feeling informed and inspired. Your role as Marketing and Communications Specialist:
As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will develop and implement communications and marketing plans to educate and inform, enhance engagement, and foster collaborative and cohesive work across the Bank.
• Develop and deliver marketing and communication campaigns that inform and inspire.
• Translate Bank wide goals into measurable marketing and communication tactics using a diverse set of digital, physical, and interactive mediums.
• Craft compelling and memorable content—to be distributed across the Bank’s internal and recruiting channels to inspire and engage employees and future candidates
• Build strong relationships with, and drive alignment across communications teams to meet the needs of key stakeholders
• Solicit the "voice of" internal audiences and personas across the employee lifecycle, using that information to improve the effectiveness of the Bank’s communications
