Position Summary:
The Creative Services team sits within the Ad Sales Marketing & Solutions team and partners with multiple stakeholders across the division to develop full funnel marketing campaigns and sales material designed to grow advertising sales revenue across Nexstar's expanding portfolio of media properties including The CW Network, NewsNation, The Hill, and 200 owned or partner stations.
This Graphic Designer role, based in New York City, reports into the Director of Creative Services, and will be tasked with elevating the level of design for the advertising sales division, bringing design innovation, storytelling, and fresh thinking into the creative services team.

Responsibilities include:
• Lead the design of creative materials including 360-degree campaigns, sales presentations, power point decks, one sheets, key art, digital banners, logos, ad designs, data chart design, media kits, new product launch materials, social media posts, and event materials including CES, Upfronts, and Cannes
• Collaborate side by side with the Creative Director, graphic designers, and marketing team members through all phases of ideation and production
• Participate and facilitate creative brainstorming sessions, including campaign development, creative briefs, and the full execution of ideas
• Produce realized comps to sell through ideas that are on strategy and on brand
• Proactively produce projects from conception to execution, delivering each step quickly and on time
• Present creative work clearly and persuasively to stakeholders across the organization and externally
• Properly set up clean files to be released and archived
• Provide design direction and support to internal and external customers
• Manage outside vendors including illustrators and printing companies
• Keep the audience and business needs at the forefront and balanced with all creative and branding decisions
• Work through the required sign-off processes, completing all proofreads, and following all spec guidelines, for all projects under management
• Ensure the use of effective time management on all projects and use organizational skills to maintain effective workflows and ensure all deadlines are met

About you:
• 5+ years professional corporate design experience at a TV Network, Digital Media Company, or Advertising Agency
• Bachelor's degree in fine arts or graphic design (BFA preferred) from an accredited four-year college/university or art school equivalent
• A well-rounded portfolio highlighting design, image manipulation, conceptual, and typographic skills
• A history of composite/manipulated image-making in Photoshop
• Deep experience in digital, print, and web design (on a Mac), and highly skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign with After Effects skills for social post motion design & event monitor motion design
• Experience and skillsets needed to create animated digital banner ads
• Positive team member, problem solver, and a clear communicator
