DESCRIPTION:
At eClerx our Customer Operations team provides premier customer service support to customers of leading US cable and telecommunication. As a Customer Operations Security Guard you will be responsible for conducting foot patrol within our Customer Operations site, while providing superior service to customers, visitors and employees. Additional responsibilities include composing reports, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, controlling access and egress, deterring criminal activity and misconduct, and performing and enforcing other duties as needed.
Position Responsibilities
• Monitor entry and ensure safety of all personnel and visitors on site
• Sign visitors in and out of registry
• Proactively scan for potential threats stemming from criminal activity or safety issues
• Communicate with management or other staff to prevent and resolve problems
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required
• Make emergency notifications, sound alarms or call police/fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Required Skill Set
• Proficient computer skills
• Effective oral, written and listening skills
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
• Attention to detail and ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
• Must have demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
Eligibility Requirements
• Must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years old
• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)

• Selected applicants will be required to complete onboarding process
• One to three years of security experience in the past five (5) year (civilian and / or military work experience)
