Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile, dedicated, and motivated Student Worker to provide support across various tasks and activities within the department. This role offers the opportunity for a proactive and dependable student to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic academic environment. In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this student worker will be required to train new student workers within their specific division.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and organization of department documents, reports, and presentations.
• Help with data entry, inventorying of supplies and/or chemicals, record-keeping, and filing.
• Assist in planning and organizing departmental events.
• Train new student workers to complete the responsibilities given to you for your specific division.
• Job responsibilities will vary dependent on the division in which you work and/or the faculty/staff member for whom you work.

The New Hampshire Motor Speedway is seeking a highly-motivated and dedicated person to join the Operations Department. The primary responsibility of this position will be to work within the Operations/Maintenance teams with all track events and track rental events.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the execution of track rental events including but not limited to setup/cleanup of events, fuel sales and track service needs
• Assist in the operational execution of NASCAR week in June, including pre-race and post-race setup and breakdown, dirt track operations and general operational logistics
• Assist in day-to-day activities for Operations and Maintenance
• Ability to work independently and in a group setting
• Provide exceptional customer and fan services
• Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather. There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (50+ pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday.
Skills and Attributes:
• Highly-dedicated and self-motivated with a desire to be successful
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak and read English
• Neat and clean appearance
• Positive attitude and great work ethic
• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and some nights
• Ability to work well within a team environment as well as individually
• The ability to work long hours on your feet in an outdoor setting
• Must be able to work with the public and be able to solve problems
Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age, high school diploma or GED. Must have a valid motor vehicle license.
Hours: Vary between 7a.m. – 7p.m., seven days per week (event weekends will be required, schedule is flexible).
Duration: Approximately April 1 – October 31 (adjustable based on facility needs). Mandatory availability June 20th-23rd
