This is a temporary role running from approximately July 3rd through December 22nd. The team is hybrid, with 50% of the time split between remote deep-focused work and in-office collaborative work.

Responsibilities...
• Oversee Program Planning & Scheduling for the Nick Jr. Block on Nickelodeon, the Nick Jr. 24-hour channel, and 2 Nick Jr. Pluto TV channels (AVOD)
• Plan and implement content strategy for Nick Jr. Cross-Platform including Nick Jr. APP/.COM, VOD
• Plan all phases of the Preschool schedules, including series launches, long-range planning, episode premiere rollouts, stunt ideation, and short-term schedule and ratings management
• Oversee the management of Nick Jr. programming inventory, including working closely with production teams on series and episodes, delivery dates, episode rollouts, etc.
• Monitor and evaluate linear ratings and share, while developing and driving strategies to improve viewership
• Manage 1 Coordinator in the day-to-day programming schedule operations with the NOC including after-hours and weekends
• Brainstorm and develop holistic programming support plans across the Nick Jr. ecosystem in support of key company-wide initiatives including Consumer Products.
• Partner with counterparts in Media Planning to execute programming schedules that optimize the viewing experience
• Communicate schedule and Programming information and strategy across various key departments and stakeholders
• Oversee the tracking of competitive programming and industry news and trends for preschool content

Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in program scheduling at a broadcast or cable network
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Proven experience in Program Planning and Scheduling

Additional Qualifications
• Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills
• Strong communicator, with ability to effectively communicate through verbal, written and remote means
• Extensive knowledge of the TV, streaming industry
• Interest or experience in Preschool Programming

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Weekly Salary Range: $2,300.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
