Once done, set the baud rate you want to use. Node-RED is an exciting development environment that lets you quickly get started with developing flows for working with data in IoT applications.digikey.comEmploying a serial connection is one way to get data transferred from an Arduino to Node-RED without using the Internet. Use Node-RED's palette manager to install the serial node package.

It provides a browser-based editor that makes it easy to wire together flows using the wide range of nodes in the palette that can be deployed to its runtime in a single click.emqx.comBesides some basic network service application nodes, such as HTTP and WebScoket, Node-RED provides access support to the MQTT protocol.

The above command will install all the packages including the node package manager, Node.js and Node-Red. If you want to stop the Node-Red service, you can do that by executing the following command.linuxhint.comThe Raspberry Pi device’s worth increases when you manage to install Node-Red on it and if you want to create multiple IoT projects, it will definitely help you.

I have tried to install Node-RED on a Raspberry Pi a couple of times unsuccessfully. I've uninstalled and reattempted but just can't work out why it won't work. I would like to do a screen share (Microsoft Teams or Discord?) and have you remove the old attempted install (if any) and reinstall the current version of Node-RED, and set it up so that it will automatically start each time the Rpi is rebooted.

We are looking for an experienced Node-RED npm package developer to help us create a package that has nodes that interact with the JSON-RPC endpoints of an Ethereum node and with smart contract on the Ethereum blockchain...

There should be a configuration node where the JSON-RPC url and credentials can be configured. It should contain 2 modes, on the one hand a dropdown to choose from a list provided by an API (mock it with a json file) or choose “custom” and provide all information by hand. When it is created automatically by adding the node to the canvas, it should pre-populate based on an environment variable containing an ID value from the json fil/api.

The first node should provide a dropdown of possible JSON-RPC methods and based on that selection show inputs which are validated according to the spec. It should be build dynamically based on the an Open RPC spec (the actual one will be provided on start of the job) which can be parsed an handled by @open-rpc/* nom packages. We will provide a React components that does something similar as a reference.

The second node should be able to take an address and ABI as inputs, and expand into a dropdown of possible functions, along with fully validated inputs for all the parameters. A dropdown of the signing key should be loaded with the result of an eth_accounts call and write transactions need to be send using the selected address and eth_sendTransaction.

Modern packages should be used like ethers.js. If react is used https://wagmi.sh/ is a good tool.

Also provide an example flow that uses these nodes.

Responsibilities:
• Develop a Node-RED npm package that can interact with a Ethereum and Ethereum smart contracts like described above.
• Test and troubleshoot the package to ensure it meets the required standards

Requirements:
• Strong experience with Node-RED and creating flows packages
• Proficiency in interacting with smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain
• Familiarity with best practices for testing and debugging Node-RED packages

If you have the required skills and experience, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your proposal and include examples of previous work in creating Node-RED packages and interacting with smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain
