Responsible for working on large/complex projects within the Enterprise Data & Analytics team. This role would develop and execute a Change Management plan around the people side of change to ensure organizational readiness, acceptance, and adoption of large Information / Data initiatives affecting the entire organization. Major Duties

• Provides comprehensive consulting and leadership to stakeholders to identify and understand their needs, concerns, and environment or business in which they work. Provides assurance to stakeholder that their underlying needs are understood through continuance communication and documenting them for verifications.
• Provides leadership in identifying and understanding the item that is changed, business impact, training needs, and executing change.
• Provides comprehensive consulting and leadership on change management to team members on less complex projects.
• Work with Project Team to ensure appropriate planning and stakeholder engagement to facilitate effective adoption of data policy, standards, procedures, capabilities, and solutions.
• Ensure stakeholders receive up to date status and communication as needed.
• Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult.

Knowledge/Skills

This position is responsible for underwriting and evaluating complex credit requests within the Wealth Management unit of Northern Trust. The primary focus will be on loans to private equity funds and management companies. Successful candidates in this role will partner with bankers and relationship managers in underwriting and preparing loan memoranda for new loans, renewals, restructures, and amendments within policy guidelines. The Commercial Credit Analyst will be responsible for researching and analyzing pertinent financial statements of individuals, businesses, and other entities.

We have a balanced hybrid working model to ensure you get the flexibility you need, and the successful candidate will spend their time between working in the office and working from home.

Responsibilities
• Evaluates and underwrites complex credit requests associated with financing private equity capital call lines, program loans for private equity funds, and lines of credit for management companies.
• Partners with Bankers, Relationship Managers and other internal clients through financial/credit analysis and identification of risk factors. Adds value to ultimate client relationship by providing timely response and quality underwriting in coordination with client needs.
• Partners with other Financial Analysts and Team Leader to meet prescribed standards of underwriting quality, client service, and productivity.
• Spreads, researches, and analyzes pertinent financial statements and tax returns related to personal, commercial, and real estate entities. Evaluates an entity’s stability, aptitude of management, and creditworthiness where appropriate. Prepares and presents written credit memoranda for credit approval.
• Compiles all necessary client prepared information and completes client financial
• statement spreadsheets and projections of client's financial condition.
• Recommends appropriate structure on credit facilities.
• Provides coaching and assistance to less experienced analysts. May serve as a subject matter expert in training and continuing education environments.
• Completes special projects as required.

Qualifications
• Knowledge of finance and accounting usually acquired through formal education or experience is required to analyze and evaluate financial statements and tax returns.
• Knowledge of applicable industry laws and regulations, usually acquired through prior experience is required to review credit risk.
• Analytical and communication skills are required to determine credit risk and to prepare credit presentations. Personal computer skills are required to prepare financial spreadsheets.
• Minimum of 2 years in personal, commercial, or commercial real estate, or private equity fund financial analysis
• Completion of formal bank credit training program preferred but not required

WHO YOU ARE
• You build data quality monitoring and measurement rules examining the data for completeness, validity, uniqueness, reasonability, consistency, accuracy, and more as it moves from source to various Wealth Management applications and reporting.

• You will be acting Product Owner for the DQ team prioritizing and ensuring the requirements of data stakeholders are met efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner by:
• Managing and prioritizing the product backlog
• Translating product managers' (DQ Manager) strategies to development tasks

• You determine business impact level for data quality issues.
• You’ll meet with key stakeholders to determine business system needs and requirements as it pertains to data quality pain points and reoccurring issues.
• You will be designing, developing, documenting and executing data quality management related test cases against data sets with data on premise as well as data in a cloud-hosted environments.
• As the Sr. Analyst on the team, you will be looked upon as a team lead and mentor for the junior analysts. Providing working sessions and direction ongoing and when appropriate.
