Description
The contractor shall be responsible for developing client-side (Python) and server-side (Chapel) software to expand Arkouda's code base coverage of Numpy functionality as well as deliver performance and scalability enhancements to Arkouda. Some telework is available for this position.

Requirements
A current Top-Secret/SCI with FS polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
OR
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
OR
Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Required technical skills include experience with:
• Experience using the Unix CLI
• Experience developing Bash scripts
• Experience developing with Python in a Unix environment
• Experience developing with Python's Pandas and NumPy software libraries
• Willingness to learn Python/Chapel elements of the Arkouda software package (NumPy-like arrays at massive scale backed by Chapel)
• Familiarity with Github and open-source development
Desired technical skills include experience with:
• Familiar with the Chapel programming language
• Experience developing with Jupyter Notebook
• Familiar with the Scala programming language constructs
• General HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage components
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience with Git source code repository

Your Team's Impact:
