Responsibilities

Our Registered Nurses in the Emergency Department independently provide care to adult and pediatric patients requiring immediate medical attention.

Working with a dedicated ED team, the Registered Nurse provides evidence-based, high quality care, including, but not limited to triage, patient observation, monitoring and diagnostic testing and treatment, and serves as a resource for other team members.

Requirements

License Requirements : RN License

Certification Requirements : Current Healthcare Provider CPR / BLS upon hire

Specialty Certifications : ED - ACLS within 6 months of hire / promotion & ENPC or PALS within 1 year

Education and Work Experience : BSN Preferred Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam Must obtain 20 Contact hours per year, fifty percent of which must be clinically focused.

Academic course credits may be used on a 1 : 1 credit hour exchange. Must possess 1 year of current clinical experience.
