Responsibilities

Develop, strategize and execute campus programs and initiatives with a focus on campus traditions, late night/off campus trips, special populations (ie. commuters, international, graduate, and first gen) and Week of Welcome. Manage and supervise the budgets related to these initiatives. Evening and weekend work will be needed for these programs.

Develop and manage a student campus recreation program using campus partners and local resources. Work with the LI Assistant Director for the implementation of recreational programing for both campuses.

Serve as the staff advisor to all recognized NYC Fraternities and Sororities; Develop and implement officer trainings and oversee chapter development and succession; Oversee all processes related to accreditation, chapter growth, budgeting and event management.

Assist clubs and organizations with event purchasing, contracts, room reservations and facilities’ needs.

Represent the department at campus-wide events and be an active part of campus-wide committees as approved by supervisor.

Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Student Life, Director of Student Life, and Associate Dean.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

The Department of Digital Art and Design anticipates openings for part-time Adjunct instructors for the Fall 2023 semester at its Manhattan location.

Responsibilities:

Teach graduate courses in User Interface and Prototyping Design.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree and five years of professional experience in the fields of UX/UI, UI Design, Design Systems, Wireframe, Prototyping, Digital Whiteboarding, Data visualizations, Handoff, Project management, IA, UX research, UX analytics, Qualitative and quantitative user research, Usability and Heuristic Evaluation, User Testing.

Academic experience is a plus.

Candidates should have technical knowledge and proficiency in Figma, Sketch, XD, InVision, Framer, Principle, Miro, Zeplin, MS Excel, Usertesting, Storybook, Notion, Zeroheight, and Maze.
