About the Job:
Are you super organized and love working on creating and organizing events? If so, read on Odoo is looking for an Event Coordinator who will help plan 100 events in 2023 all across North America. This fast-paced role will require a crafty negotiator who knows how to manage their time wisely.
You'll research the market, determine optimal locations for our events, and then continue negotiating with venues and caterers across North America. You will collaborate with other client-facing roles in this role, be part of a fast-growing team, and heavily impact Odoo's success.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate hundreds of events across North America
• Secure venues, catering, etc.
• Negotiate contracts
• Ensure events run smoothly, even from afar
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-3 years of professional experience
• 1-3 years of events/ hospitality experience
• Able to work in a rapidly evolving field
• Highly organized
• Time management
• Acute Attention to Detail
• Spanish Fluency (Native or Professional Level)
Nice-to-Have:
• Community management experience via social media channels
• Knowledge of working in software

• Full sales cycle, from the inbound conversion through an initial close, and then post-sale account management for upselling

The Business System Analyst Team is helping customers across the Americas to streamline their business processes with Odoo. This is an implementation project management role for people who are excited to work at the intersection of software and business. You'll learn different management practices throughout a variety of industries. You will be trained to become a subject matter expert across Odoo's diverse apps (there's over 50). We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a "get it done" spirit.

• Manage client relationships while implementing Odoo SaaS solutions
• Analyze all aspects of clients' business operations to map their processes to Odoo's solutions
• Quantify the resources required for a task/project related to an Enterprise Resource Platform implementation
• Collaborate with Odoo's developers to execute clients' business requirements
• Collaborate with the clients' implementation managers on User Acceptance Testing and End User Training.
• Occasionally advise the sales team during pre-sale regarding complex implementations
Must Have
• Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering Management or a related field
• Passion for learning business processes (sales, accounting, supply chain, inventory management, manufacturing)
• Able to work in a rapidly evolving field
