Creator position is responsible for the team that designs curates and creates a textbook aligned to the learning objectives and challenge exam for the SDC Introduction to Agriculture Business course In addition to creating and curating a text the lead content creator will be responsible for reviewing and editing work from other members of the faculty group providing and ensuring adherence to formatting and voice standardization setting and holding team members accountable to deadlines and responding to feedback from the director The Lead has the same responsibilities as the Content Creators listed below as well as those listed as Lead responsibilities Responsibilities related to the officeProcesses for both positions1 Create and curate a comprehensive OER textbook that is aligned to the agriculture business course learning objectives and challenge exam2 Determine and maintain a list of curated resource citations and licensing agreements3 Collaborate with other authors and the copy editor to create a formatted Word document for each section of the textbook4 Upload Word documents to the OER Commons platform 5 Assist with final edits in OER Commons platform6 Respond to feedback or requestLead Lead a team to create and curate a comprehensive OER textbook that is aligned to the agriculture business course learning objectives and challenge exam Lead the collaboration with other authors Review work from other members of the team to ensure voice and content reading level remains consistent throughout text Review final edits in OER Commons platform to ensure adherence to standard formattingCommunication and Reporting1 Maintain a monthly time log indicating the dates and times of work as well as a short description of work completed and which deliverable the work was for2 Provide any other reporting as needed to support the OER creation processLead Set and hold team members accountable to deadlinesKnowledge Skills AbilitiesContent area expertise or experience teaching similar postsecondary course at a postsecondary institution or dual enrollmentdual credit environmentExcellent organizational skillsability to plan efficient workstreamsMinimum QualificationsMasters degree in a field aligned to Agriculture BusinessCurrent faculty full-time or adjunct at a Tennessee postsecondary institutionLead Previous experience developing or updating an SDC course Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience developing or updating an SDC coursePrevious experience leading an SDC project or similar faculty led projectPrevious experience teaching introductory level agriculture business teaching dual enrollment or AP in a sciencePrevious experience creatingcurating OERPrevious experience using OER in courses taught Show more details...
