Scope of Position
The Division of Physical Therapy at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio is seeking an experienced and innovative leader to serve as the Program Director and lead the newly redesigned leadership team. The leadership team is comprised of an assistant program director, director of clinical education, recruitment and admissions coordinator, and the director of physical... therapy clinical services who are all focused on advancing clinical practice in both the classroom and clinic.
The program includes 13 talented faculty (a balanced blend of tenure track and clinical faculty) who are all passionate, dedicated teachers, as well as seasoned federally funded and research active faculty who manage five diverse research labs. In addition, there are two administrative and budgetary support staff members for the program, and 14 therapists (physical, occupational and speech therapists/assistants) in the Ohio University Therapy Associates clinical unit.
