Essential Functions
• Construct content development priorities and project plans to maximize the reach to internal and external customers
• Benchmark consumer electronics and other industry training content development methods, standards, and practices
• Conduct continuous training needs analysis with leaders, managers, and subject matter experts across Garmin and the industry to determine internal and external training needs
• Seize opportunities to refine and/or expand training programs and products to better support customers and the consumer electronics community, broaden retail associate reach, and enhance Garmin Consumer Sales efforts
• Develop and organize training syllabi, testing and evaluation procedures, web-based content, interactive courseware, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials
• Ensure content development projects are developed and implemented to meet cost, time, and scope/quality objectives
• Assist leadership in managing people, processes, and technology to meet organizational goals
• Able to shoot, edit and post video training and eLearning resources
• Ensure all customer information and Garmin business information is maintained in strict confidence
• Stay abreast of trends in consumer electronics, adult education, and training industries
• Maintain operational proficiency with Garmin Consumer Electronics devices and conduct retail associate instructor-led classes, as required

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Adult Education, Human Resources, Interactive Design or related field OR a minimum of 4 years relevant experience
• Must have training and/or education curriculum and content development experience
• Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated skills and/or previous experience in managing people, processes, and technology to meet organizational goals
• Previous experience in shooting, editing and posting video and eLearning training sessions
• Must be detail-oriented, possess the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrate project management skills, and effectively meet timelines and milestones
• Must demonstrate effective presentation, public speaking, and customer service skills
• Possess a proficient working knowledge of adult learning models

• Performs basic maintenance duties such as painting, light plumbing, cleaning shop and equipment areas; builds, fixes, and maintains fencing; completes basic preventative maintenance on building/plant equipment.
