Be responsible for the administration, documentation, and continuous improvement of tools used by operational teams ;

Ensure onboarding and training materials are updated with the latest changes ;

Purpose Statement
The Custodian maintains an attractive, sanitary and safe facility for students, staff and public, provides equipment and furniture arrangements for meetings, classroom activities and events, and minimizes property damage, loss and liability exposure.
This position reports to the Head Custodian of the Open Classroom.
Note: This position typically works 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a fingerprint and criminal background check
• Valid Driver’s license and evidence of insurability
• Able to follow safety practices and procedures, including industrial cleaning methods, Team Cleaning, Integrated Pest Management (I.P.M.) and Green Cleaning concepts
• Speak, read, write, and present professionally, analyze, and interpret English written and verbal communications

Essential Functions

• Participate in meetings and training (e.g. blood borne pathogens, cleaning solvents, floor care, first aid, etc.) to receive information on new and/or improved procedures

Purpose Statement
The Sweeper I maintains an attractive, sanitary and safe facility for students, staff and public; providing equipment and furniture arrangements for meetings, classroom activities and events; and minimizing property damage, loss and liability exposure
This position reports to the Head Custodian.
Minimum Qualifications
• Speak, read, write, and present professionally, analyze, and interpret English written and verbal communications
• Familiarity with methods of industrial cleaning; and safety practices and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous work experience in custodial services
• Experience in a K-12 education or public employment environment
• Spanish or other language proficiency, including ability to read, write, speak, and understand
Essential Functions
• Arrange furnishings and equipment to provide adequate preparations for meetings, classroom activities and events.
• Assist in securing facilities and grounds to minimize property damage, equipment loss and potential liability to organization.
• Clean assigned school facilities (e.g. classrooms, offices, gym, multipurpose rooms, pools, grounds, etc.) to maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment.
• Attends in service training (e.g. blood borne pathogens, cleaning solvents, floor care, first aid, etc.) to receive information on new and/or improved procedures.
• On occasion, may be required to routinely sanitize restrooms according to department guidelines.
• Work under limited supervision, utilizing time-management and prioritization strategies, accurately processing detailed information and meeting deadlines.
