Over the last 18 months, Outlier has created a custom high school dual enrollment platform that enables high schools across the globe to offer our curricula as dual credit, with tools to monitor and oversee the programs locally. We’ve amassed >100 high school partners across innovative partners like Summit Public Schools and NYC Public Schools, and we’re just getting started!
We are seeking a talented and experienced B2B Marketing Manager to join our Marketing department. As the B2B Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive high school partnerships and promote our dual enrollment programs. Your role will be crucial in expanding our reach and establishing Outlier.org as a leader in the education space.
This is a remote full-time role that will report to the Head of Marketing.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy to target and engage high schools for partnership opportunities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create marketing materials and campaigns that effectively communicate the value and benefits of our dual enrollment programs.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the education sector, specifically related to high school partnerships and dual enrollment programs.
• Manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including email marketing, social media, content & event marketing, and paid advertising, to generate leads and drive engagement with high school administrators and decision-makers.
• Utilize Salesforce, HubSpot, and other CRM tools to track and analyze marketing performance, measure ROI, and make data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and content, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
WHO YOU ARE
• 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience focused on demand generation, ABM, lead nurture / qualifying, content creation, and event planning
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and engagement.
• Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, and other CRM tools to manage and track marketing activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of the education sector a plus, particularly high school systems and processes.
COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000-$100,000; however, the base salary offered may vary depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales efforts and building partnerships with educational partners within the High School/Dual Enrollment space. You’ll work closely with a team that includes sales development representatives, marketers, and product managers to help grow and manage your own pipeline of partners. You will also work closely with key stakeholders to understand their needs, present our offerings, and close deals. WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Identify and target outreach to potential educational institutions for partnership and sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the education sector.
• Take full accountability for managing all phases of the sales cycles from prospecting, discovery, and demo to close.
• Build a pipeline through successful outbound calls, email communications, events, and face-to-face meetings.
• Work closely with Sales Development Representative(s) to better and more efficiently drive qualified opportunities into your pipeline.
• Present and demonstrate our products and services to key stakeholders.
• Negotiate and close sales deals, achieving and exceeding metrics/revenue targets.
• Assist other sales staff with closing their leads as needed.
• Weekly accountability for reporting activities, opportunity development and forecasting, data updates, and accuracy in the CRM system.
WHO YOU ARE
• Are a driven, goal-oriented, and entrepreneurial sales professional.
• Ability to manage the full cycle of lead prospecting and generation to the closing of the deal.
• 3-5+ years of outstanding B2B sales performance, preferably with a focus on high school partnerships and/or K-12 curricula programs.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales efforts and building partnerships with educational partners within the High School/Dual Enrollment space. You’ll work closely with a team that includes sales development representatives, marketers, and product managers to help grow and manage your own pipeline of partners. You will also work closely with key stakeholders to understand their needs, present our offerings, and close deals. This is a remote full-time role that will report to the Director of Sales.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Identify and target outreach to potential educational institutions for partnership and sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the education sector.
• Take full accountability for managing all phases of the sales cycles from prospecting, discovery, and demo to close.
• Build a pipeline through successful outbound calls, email communications, events, and face-to-face meetings.
• Work closely with Sales Development Representative(s) to better and more efficiently drive qualified opportunities into your pipeline.
• Present and demonstrate our products and services to key stakeholders.
• Negotiate and close sales deals, achieving and exceeding metrics/revenue targets.
• Assist other sales staff with closing their leads as needed.
• Weekly accountability for reporting activities, opportunity development and forecasting, data updates, and accuracy in the CRM system.
WHO YOU ARE
• Are a driven, goal-oriented, and entrepreneurial sales professional.
• Ability to manage the full cycle of lead prospecting and generation to the closing of the deal.
• 3-5+ years of outstanding B2B sales performance, preferably with a focus on high school partnerships and/or K-12 curricula programs.
• Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives such as KPIs and productivity requirements.
• Strong relationship-management skills.
• Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
• Confidence to credibly engage with the executive level stakeholders
• Deep understanding of high school/K-12 industry.
• Will work remotely but must be able to travel on occasion
• Even with SDR support, you’re eager to make cold calls and advance your own pipeline.
• Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, Airtable, and/or other CRM tools.
COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000-$130,000; however, the base salary offered may vary depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
