Community & Property Manager

The Community & Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Outsite Chelsea location in a continuing effort to provide a great guest experience, by making sure the guests’ needs are being met, the accommodation is in excellent operating condition, and encouraging community; all while maximizing the brand’s growth.

Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience in hospitality, and/or operations
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
• Familiarity with, and passion for, the remote work community is preferred but not required
• Must have a high level of customer service and a customer-centric disposition
• Self-starter who has the ability to work independently
• Team player
• Detail-oriented
• Must be proficient in communication; both verbal and written
• Professional demeanor
• Must have great social skills and a good sense and sound judgment in practical matters
• Must be punctual and reliable
• High hustle quotient: willing to get your hands dirty to move fast, and get things done
• Must be based in New York City
• Hybrid: Both on-site and remote work will be required

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience - Welcoming and communicating with guests, whether that is through text, email, or in-person, and replying to questions/concerns in a timely manner. Ensuring that guests' needs are being met and that guests are following Outsite's policies, rental rules, and guidelines. Includes being on-call for guests’ questions/concerns.

Community Management and Social- Being present and encouraging a sense of community. Engaging in brand awareness, fomenting local partnerships, organizing one gathering per week with the guests, giving recommendations, answering questions/concerns, and moderating the location’s online groups in Whatsapp and Circle.

Property & Operations Management: In charge of the management and operation of the Outsite Chelsea location to the highest level of efficiency possible by overseeing the performance and the day-to-day processes. Overseeing that the spaces are maintained properly staged and organized. Overseeing that all items on the property are in good working condition. Ensuring that all issues on the property are resolved in a timely manner. Triaging and prioritizing issues. Performing daily, weekly, and quarterly inspections. Hiring, coordinating, and supervising maintenance vendors. Supervising the cleaning services. Contacting suppliers and keeping inventory of stock and expenses. Submitting purchase orders. Being on-call for property emergencies.

Potential Start Date: July 2024

Contract Type: Independent Contractor (w9)

Time Commitment: 30 hours per week

Compensation: To be determined based on experience
