What you’ll be doing

We are looking to hire a Product Specialist to provide support to sysadmins who configure, operate and troubleshoot our products. The Product Specialist will also support and advise customers on how to integrate our on-premises solution, Server Pro, with customer IT systems and processes. In addition, the Product Specialist will provide general support to our end users.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing support for our on-premises product, Server Pro

Providing end user Overleaf support via our online ticketing system

Contributing to maintenance of our internal documentation and our user-facing documentation

Working closely with our Product and Engineering teams to contribute to improvements to the Overleaf editor

Gaining familiarity with tools vital to our users’ daily work such as LaTeX, reference managers, Git, GitHub, Dropbox, programming tools such as R and Jupyter

Following established processes, and helping to improve them

As part of the Customer Services team at Overleaf, you will be helping to make Overleaf the go-to place for scientific writing.

What you’ll bring to the role

Be proficient in Linux, the command line, Docker, LDAP/SAML configuration, and networking fundamentals

Be familiar with Overleaf

Be fluent in English

Have excellent communication skills, and are comfortable collaborating internally across teams, and directly with our customers

Be based in the US, Canada, the UK or Europe (EU member state)

Usually be available in our core hours, 2pm–5pm UK time

Remote and flexible working.

Salary up to 70K GBP per year, depending on experience.

You would join a small, dedicated and growing team.
