• Work with finance colleagues to ensure maximum long and short term profitability of the journal list, including management of costs. Initiate remedial actions and negotiations where necessary.
• Lead the transition process for newly acquired titles in your area of expertise ensuring a methodological approach, coordination with other departments, including the transitions team, and keeping society clients fully informed on what to expect at each stage.
• Create and present Editorial Development plans to societies and editorial boards as appropriate. Provide relevant data to inform editorial decision making
• Help develop and roll out OUP journal policies across the portfolio.
• Work with the Publishing Director and/or Operations Director to identify and implement priority projects that scale across the journals program.

Sales Representatives at Oxford University Press meet with college and university professors to promote our higher education titles and electronic course materials. As a Sales Rep, you will be responsible for meeting one-on-one with faculty or hosting presentations, lunches, workshops, or book fairs to further adoptions of OUP texts. Job Description

A Junior Dean (JD) ensures the success of Oxford Royale Academy's programme on all fronts: welfare, safety and organisation, whilst ensuring students have an enjoyable and culturally enriching stay.

The role demands a high level of responsibility for student welfare and safety. JDs must be able to coordinate student head-counts, curfews and registration among other pastoral duties. The JDs will find themselves leading group activities in and outside of college, including coach excursions.

JDs are responsible for leading a team of Counsellors, and for the implementation of the Events, Social and large parts of the Enrichment Programmes. A JD should have experience in supervising children and young adults and be able to couple this experience with a fun, outgoing and sociable character.

Our JDs are key to building a smooth and unforgettable student experience, which requires commitment and what can be intensive and long working days. JDs are supported by Campus Management and Head Office teams, and this role includes the opportunity for great personal and professional development.

Key responsibilities:
• To ensure the everyday wellbeing and safety of the students.
• To lead a group of Counsellors and assign daily duties.
• To work alongside other JDs to support the Campus Management team in the running of all elements of the Programme.
• To lead staff and students on excursions to tourist destinations across the UK.
• To contribute to the organisation and delivery of Events, Social and Enrichment Programmes, including extracurricular activities such as sports, debates, social events etc.
