Your Career

We are seeking a driven problem solver to join our new, growing Security Analyst team at Unit 42. We are responsible for the internal security monitoring, threat hunting, and incident response for some of the largest networks in the world. As a Security Analyst, we will rely on you to detect and respond to cyber incidents facing customers’ internal business

The ideal candidate is a quick learner and good communicator who will analyze threat alerts that fire from our Cortex XSOAR. The candidate should be a creative thinker who takes pride in solving challenging security problems.

Your Impact
• Work closely with Palo Alto Networks' largest customers to provide the best Managed Detection and Response (MDR) security service in market
• Own an incident lifecycle from outbreak to full remediation as an integral part of a 24x7 follow-the-sun global SOC
• Provide critical feedback to the different product, research and engineering teams to help improve the products for the entire Palo Alto Networks' customer base
• Work closely with Security Research, Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting teams to remediate and detect new emerging threats

Your Experience
• 3+ years of experience in a multi tiered SOC/IR/MDR team
• Experienced with Technologies such as EDR, SIEM, SOAR, FW
• Deep understanding of attack trends and threat detection services
• Familiarity with security best practices and common emerging security threats
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• These are a plus, but not required:
• Experience in Python programming

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $104500/yr to $169050/yr. The Cloud Engagement Director is responsible for all aspects of the technical solution life cycle for Prisma Cloud’s largest accounts. This includes leading design, implementation, and adoption in both a pre and post-sales capacity. • Define and own the customer deployment strategy and value realization plan to achieve the goals and KPIs defined above.
• Accelerate customer adoption of Prisma Cloud by leading the development of a proper product and services implementation strategy for Prisma Cloud customers
• Assist the customer in understanding the benefits that can be realized by deploying Prisma Cloud technology, process, and tools; developing business cases around those benefits and measuring results to ensure the achievement of those benefits
• Develop, implement, and lead program governance on the projects and lifecycle operations of the customer's Prisma Cloud investments maintaining project-level oversight and managing exceptions related to timelines, milestones, migration targets, and business transformation strategies

Your Experience

The Support Account Manager (SAM) manages our Customers’ services experience to ensure Palo Alto Networks is exceeding customer expectations. The Team & Role

Customer Success Engineers are product experts, technical advisors, and customer advocates. At Palo Alto Networks, we take a proactive approach to ensure customers achieve their required outcomes with a product or a service through tailored end-to-end technical execution & guidance. Product Expertise:
• As the technical SME, you will work with Product, Engineering and Account teams to ensure our customers and partners get the most out of our products

Your Career

In this newly created opportunity, we are looking for an extraordinary Sr. Manager, Global Security Operations Center, with a passion for protecting corporate assets, including people, property, and information. You will lead a program to operate a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) focused on protecting Palo Alto Networks and its people, property, and assets around the world. Reporting to the Director of Global Safety & Security Initiatives, you will work closely with IT, Risk Management, Facilities, InfoSec, HR, and Legal. Your Impact
• Build out the GSOC function to be the central hub of all things Safety and Security
• Work closely with the SAS Ops team to prioritize program development and drive alignment across all Global SAS stakeholders
• Build world-class Analyst and Operations functions under the GSOC umbrella
• Remotely lead our RSOC and provide leadership and guidance to an international team
• Using excellent communication skills, develop policies and standards that provide a consistent bar for safety and security Globally
• Use data, metrics, and qualitative feedback to make sound strategic decisions and show ROI
• Manage tools, vendors, and stakeholders to provide a frictionless customer experience when engaging with the GSOC

Your Experience
• Broad exposure to both security and safety-related requirements, as well as strong business acumen skills
• 7+ years of relevant experience in a corporate security environment
• Previous military or law enforcement a big plus
• Recent experience running a successful GSOC program in a comparable environment
• Ability to build the GSOC program with growth and change in mind
• Capable of leading the efforts to differentiate our offices from other companies, from the perspective of both customers and employees
• Excellent decision-making skills and critical thinking

Your Career

The Support Account Manager (SAM) manages our Customers’ services experience to ensure Palo Alto Networks is exceeding customer expectations. As a partner to the Account Team, the SAM understands the account strategy and the customer’s security and business priorities in order to address, solve and support all customer issues quickly and effectively.

Your Impact

Qualifications

Your Experience
• 5+ years of experience in technical support within the high-tech industry
• 5+ years of client facing sales or services experience
• Project Management or service delivery qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work within a demanding environment, delivering consistent results even under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to identify key customer stakeholders, engage and build relationships without direct supervision
• Ability to influence teams across the organization to achieve desired customer outcomes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences and to explain the impact in business terms

The Cloud Engagement Director will have a concentration on ensuring that the client achieves their goals through the deployment of the Prisma Cloud portfolio.

Job Description

You will be responsible for improving our client’s time to value by accelerating Prisma Cloud adoption aligned to their business outcomes. This is accomplished through the delivery of business-relevant security conversations with our clients while directing the execution of Palo Alto Networks’ global sales, support, delivery, and product teams in our most strategic accounts.
• In this director-level role, you will be leading and directing cross functional teams within Palo Alto Networks to ensure the highest quality of product and service delivery focused on customer business outcomes.
• As a thought leader, you will address customer’s cloud security challenges by leveraging Palo Alto Networks Cloud technologies in a way that creates differentiated business value.
• As a trusted advisor, you will provide valuable insights and education on effective risk reduction, compliance, governance, and cost reduction through a prevention first security approach based on the Palo Alto Networks security platform.

Your Impact
• Build ongoing executive-level relationships in our biggest accounts with the highest propensity for cloud spend. These accounts may be existing Prisma Cloud customers with high expansion/upside probability, Prisma Cloud Whitespace, or PANW Whitespace, or.
• Identify and document the client's strategic cloud transformation goals and KPIs for value realization.
• Define and own the customer deployment strategy and value realization plan to achieve the goals and KPIs defined above.
• Accelerate customer adoption of Prisma Cloud by leading the development of a proper product and services implementation strategy for Prisma Cloud customers
• Assist the customer in understanding the benefits that can be realized by deploying Prisma Cloud technology, process, and tools; developing business cases around those benefits and measuring results to ensure the achievement of those benefits
• Develop, implement, and lead program governance on the projects and lifecycle operations of the customer's Prisma Cloud investments maintaining project-level oversight and managing exceptions related to timelines, milestones, migration targets, and business transformation strategies
• Setting and driving an agenda with the customer or prospect, both directly and with the local sales teams, and within the market through various engagements, including client workshops, architectural assessments, and designs.
• Becoming a valued resource to Product Management to discover and understand current shortcomings and competitive insights in our product suite and requirements for future strategic market segments.
• Developing and maintaining an executive level point of view on Cybersecurity trends with a deep understanding of architectures for Cloud Security and the ability to successfully position a Palo Alto Networks approach.

Qualifications

Your Experience
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform configuration and administration of security features and services (including identity and access management, networking, firewalls, encryption)
• Solid fundamental networking background
• Knowledge of ancillary security areas such as identity management, SIEM, network and endpoint
• Demonstrable experience in establishing credibility and strategic messaging with large enterprise customers
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
• "Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to do whatever is necessary to overcome obstacles to ensure customer adoption of the Prisma Cloud platform, close large opportunities, and expand the Prisma Cloud footprint in our largest cloud accounts.
• Degree in CS or equivalent - 10+ years technical sales or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience required
• Robust problem finding and solving skills, ability to analyze complex multivariate problems, and systematic approach to gain quick resolution, even under duress.
• Expect to travel a minimum of 50%+ of the weeks in the fiscal year. This is a global role and will require travel both in theater and internationally. Travel will include customer and Palo Alto Networks location onsite meetings.\

Preferences
• Experience with IaC software tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, GCP Cloud Deployment Manager etc) and CI/CD tools (IDEs, GitLab, GitHuB, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc)
• Understanding of container and container orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
