Responsibilities may include but not limited to:1. Perform welding operations based on project requirements and specifications.2. Interpret and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.3. Select appropriate welding methods and techniques for each project.4. Inspect and evaluate welded joints for quality and accuracy.5. Identify and troubleshoot welding issues, making necessary adjustments to achieve desired results.6. Perform routine maintenance and repair of welding equipment to ensure its proper functioning.7. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.8. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful completion of projects.9. Stay updated with industry trends, new welding techniques, and advancements in equipment.
Requirements:1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Welder in a professional setting.2. Proficiency in various welding techniques, including arc welding, gas welding, and TIG/MIG welding.3. Strong knowledge of different metals and their properties.4. Ability to interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.5. Familiarity with welding equipment, tools, and their maintenance.6. Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving welding issues.7. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.8. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.9. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.10. Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
