DUTIES:
Performs County-wide coordination, implementation, evaluation and supervision of community-based recreation activities and programs for youth, teens, adults and seniors with and without disabilities. Conducts athletic facility monitoring; loads in/out and transports recreation equipment using a County vehicle to drive to various County-wide neighborhood parks to implement recreation programs. Work is performed under the general guidance of the supervisor and is reviewed through reports, on-site visits and results obtained.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of three (3) months of experience organizing and supervising recreational activities and programming for adult/youth recreational leagues.
Necessary Special Requirement: Must possess or obtain First Aid/ Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification within six (6) months of hire.
