Position Summary

Portland State University Campus Police Officers are responsible for maintaining peace and public safety through enforcement of laws, performing traffic control, and providing emergency services on the Portland State University campus, to include the adjacent community. Campus Police Officer must at all times support the Portland State University mission, provide essential law enforcement functions, and respect the right and dignity of all individuals. Campus Police Officers must interact effectively with the campus and surrounding community (student, faculty, staff, administrators, visitors, and members of the public), demonstrating trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, communication, justice, fairness, caring, civic virtue, impartiality, and citizenship, while maintaining integrity, ethical values, pride, and professionalism.

Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement

Position Overview:
The Evaluation Manager is a new position in the organization necessitated by our commitment to understanding the impact of our programs and centering the communities we serve. The Evaluation Manager will work collaboratively with the homeownership, home repair, and community development teams to develop an evaluation framework for each program area that includes quantitative and qualitative analysis of program results and impact. Responsibilities:
Design and Implement Evaluation format including methodology, logistics, and cadence
• Design and manage impact evaluation of homeownership, community development, home repair and other programs
• Conduct qualitative data collection including key informant interviews and focus groups
• Develop a variety of dissemination products, including reports, briefs, and dashboards based on program evaluation data
• Update and develop new evaluation tools, as needed

Position Summary

The Program and Administrative Support position provides general and specialized program support to the daily operations of the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education (OCCD). Position Summary

The Parking Services Representative provides support for Transportation and Parking Services in the areas of parking enforcement, event parking, and parking maintenance.

They assist the Parking Enforcement Supervisor with training, scheduling, and supporting student employees and regularly updating training manuals. This position will be responsible for the set-up and tear-down of event parking on campus (signs, barricades, wayfinding information) as well as data collection and analysis regarding citation issuance and revenue collection.

This position has a driving requirement related to the use of a mobile license plate recognition vehicle, and must therefore maintain a PSU driver’s certification and a valid driver’s license throughout employment.

Minimum Qualifications from Classification

Position Summary

This position is responsible for working with the Institute for Natural Resources (INR), the Department of Environmental Science & Management (ESM), Center for Lakes and Reservoirs (CLR), and Berry Botanic Seed Bank at PSU staff to gather, collate, and disseminate information on invasive species found within Oregon, perform field work related to invasive species, rare species, and seed collection, assist with the Seed Bank, and other program support. The position includes administration of the Oregon iMap Invasives program and Oregon Invasive Species Hotline including solicitation and distribution of data and networking with regional invasives organizations for training and support. It will also include participation in outreach events including the PSU farmer’s market.

Salary is dependent on several factors, and new employees will typically start around the Q1 level to allow for later growth within the salary band.
