People's Daily Overseas is looking for a full-time native English-speaking editor based in Beijing responsible for news reporting and social media management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proofread and polish English articles and tweets
- Assist the team in program hosting, story pitching, video editing etc.
- Write commentaries
- Follow breaking news released by the mainstream media and on the social media platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s

- Familiar with related fields such as international politics, economics, etc.; have knowledge about China
- Good communications skills and teamwork spirit
- Experience with a media organization is a plus

2、承担人民日报海外社交媒体平台视频访谈类节目的策划及出镜主持；
3、撰写适合在海外新媒体平台传播的英文评论；
4、跟踪国内外主流媒体和社交媒体平台发布的重大新闻。
任职资格：
1、大学本科及以上学历，具有两年以上新闻媒体相关工作经验，硕士及以上学历优先；
2、英语为母语或具备母语水平，具备良好的英文文字功底和写作技能;
3、熟悉中国国情，中文熟练，具备中翻英能力。
