How you'll have an impact at Paula's Choice: This highly creative individual is responsible for bringing our brand story and product assortment to life through visual media. They will own the end-to-end production of all in-house photoshoots and will be a key partner in elevating the brand's visual aesthetics. As a Studio Photographer, a typical day might include a mix of the following:
• Responsible for executing high-quality, consistent image content that aligns with Paula's Choice brand aesthetic
• Provide photo retouching and digital manipulation of imagery to support creative / design team
• Maintain proper file naming, sorting, and archiving of files within digital asset library as well as exporting files in a variety of resolutions
• Work in photo studio, on location at the Paula's Choice HQ, and at off-site locations as needed
• Execute a wide range of both product and on-figure photography; including but not limited to portraits, still life, and before & after shoots
• Ensure all photography is compliant with style guides to build and maintain consistency across aspects of brand photography including image composition, surfaces, background, and lighting
• Efficiency working within an agile process to meet deadlines; providing support across various channels on a daily basis
• Support continuous improvement of studio workflow to maximize capacity, operational efficiencies, and ensure process compliance by providing insight and recommendations to Studio Manager and Project Manager for developing and implementing process and procedural enhancements.
• Operate and maintain studio equipment, organize photo supplies, maintain storage areas and gather additional props / styling items
• Explore trends and evolve photo ideation for collaboration with creative team.
• Collaborate with Senior Art Director + Vice President of Global Creative to brainstorm new test shoot ideas for upcoming projects
