We are searching for a Still Life Stylist who is comfortable styling a wide variety of samples including shoes, handbags, scarves, belts, masks, and especially laydowns for kids clothing.
At our studio each Stylist works on their own set, without a... photographer.
The Photo Lead ensures each set is prepped and ready for the Stylist to just turn on and start shooting for enhanced productivity.
Responsibilities:
Style and capture 35 digital samples, including all views, per day.
Export the final selects from Capture One and upload the JPGs to our server.
Communicate the studio styling standards to any freelancers working on that week's project when lead stylist is not available.
Review all images weekly with the team for any deviations from our guidelines for learning opportunities.
Ensure all samples for the week are shot and uploaded by the end of the week.
Prep and steam all garments before shooting.
Be agile enough to switch between styling laydowns for kid's clothes on your own one week and then move onto styling handbags with a photographer the next.
Work with our inventory management system to ensure all samples are shot and troubleshoot any issues with samples on set.
Use our Jira ticket system to answer any issues that arise about samples from the Merchant team.
Coordinate with the freelancers to make sure they are shooting items properly and to our standards.
Work as a team with all the freelancers, staff photographers and stylists to ensure that all samples for the week are shot properly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5
years of ecommerce laydown experience.
Experienced with styling laydowns of children's clothing is required.
Expertise in laydowns, fabric, Garment style, and industry terms for Fashion clothing and accessories.
Knowledge of Capture one photo software.
Effective communication skills.
Highly organized and detail oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead a team of Managers and individual contributors with a strong operational mindset to ensure individual metrics and quality standards are being met.
• Develop and recruit strong operational leadership to support the organization.
• Coach and develop Managers and individual contributor photographers to drive success
• Ensure operational metrics are being met by teams, problem shoot obstacles, and provide on-going and real time feedback to managers and teams
• Focus on continuous improvement of workflows and processes to drive optimization and innovation.
• Collaborate with Sales leaders, Product, Research and IT to deliver the best visual product possible on behalf of our customers.
• Develop world class on-boarding and training programs that focus on driving integration of new team members and the on-going development of photographers and managers.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors required and Masters preferred
• 10+ years leading a team responsible for delivering a product against deadlines
• 5+ years of experience leading large-scale dispersed teams (200+) against deadlines and deliverables
• Proven track record driving accountability with Directors and Managers and leading in a metric driven organization
• Demonstrated ability to operate in fast paced environment with high creative and delivery standards
