Job Description

This is your chance to impact one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the world. Reporting directly to our Creative Director, you will help elevate the role and impact of on-brand content and messaging across all brand touchvpoints and experiences. As a key member of ServiceNow’s Global Brand Team, you’ll help us grow awareness, demand, and build strong brand equity. As a creative force, you’ll help create the brand narratives, campaigns, and storytelling experiences that bring our products and their benefits to life for our global audiences. The top candidate will have expertise contributing to world-class brands that are purpose-driven and will have a deep understanding of creative and brand-building strategies across all channels.

Role:

· Serve as the lead champion of our brand voice. Own the documentation, guidelines and writing standards of the brand. Partner with our brand management team to lead training and guide the implementation of our brand voice across internal and external channels.

· Create distinctive copywriting that breaks through the B2B clutter with a conversational voice and human tone. Contribute to the evolution and extension of our brand and brand voice across customer and employee experiences.

· Collaborate with art directors, designers, and strategists to unearth insights that inform creative for multiple lines of business across various platforms.

· Partner with art directors and others to develop creative solutions that meet brand strategies, creative standards, and business objectives.

· Help copywriters and other cross-disciplinary teammates develop their writing skills to align with our brand.

· Take creative responsibility for key copy and campaign content, including brand voice and tone guidelines, messaging guidelines, creative concepts, and the writing of headlines, taglines, presentations, video scripts and more.

· Lead and participate in creative and strategic workshops, brainstorming sessions, creative critiques, and creative team building.

· Advocate for best-in-class creative thinking and execution to internal partners and stakeholders. Demonstrate fluency and familiarity with competitors’ creative campaigns, branding, and strategic approaches.

· Be an active participant in our team and company culture.

· Bring bold thinking and creative ideas to advance our brand and reputation.
Qualifications

· 10+ years of writing/editing experience in brand marketing. In-house and brand agency experience is a plus.

· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field.

· Conceptual, creative thinker with a strong portfolio.

· Excellent writing and storytelling skills and a passion for bringing creative ideas to life.

· Excellent cross-team collaboration, with a demonstrated ability to work across stakeholder groups, functional areas, geographies, and differing levels of seniority to get things done.

· Strong business acumen balanced with an ability to think creatively and conceptually.

· High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

· Exceptional ability to understand complex topics and translate them in a meaningful and accessible way to multiple audiences.

The writer/editor will be tasked with taking the daily contributions from the AJC’s politics team and unifying them into a single engaging product.
