This role will oversee the implementation, build-out, and/or maintenance of the following key HR functions:
• Compliance & all HR regulatory work
• Benefits administration & LOAs
• Employee relations/investigations including terminations/offboarding
• Training & Development

This role will report directly to the VP of People and partner to build out solid, consistent, and inclusive HR processes, systems, and tools. This role will be critical to the success of Plex from both the HR infrastructure side as well as protecting our culture as we grow. The HR team is small but mighty, to be successful in this role you will not only have the breadth of experience required, but you will roll up your sleeves and dig in to do the work.

What you'll do
• Champion, protect, and build programs to support our Plex values and culture with employees
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local country employment laws and regulations, reporting and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
• Partner on building out and communicating the compensation philosophy, compile and stay up to date with annual, and global compensation data, and build out internal bands
• Administer all global benefits, be the main contact with vendors, assess current benefit offerings, suggest new and competitive benefits offerings, maintain all compliance
• Partner with recruiting to ensure a smooth candidate transition from onboarding to their team
• Assisting in the identification of talent challenges and developing solutions to address them. Oversees and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, transitions, and investigations
• Runs, reviews, and works to continuously improve our 360 Performance Review process
• Reviewing, updating, and maintaining the employee handbook, safety procedures, and all applicable documents and policies
• Mentoring and coaching managers and employees as needed. Create and deliver manager, new manager, and employee training
• Partner in developing employee recognition programs and Plex values programs
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law in the US and applicable countries
• Coordinate with legal resources on necessary employee relations matters
• Conduct any necessary analyses on teams to develop solutions, programs, and policies to help solve operational or morale issues
• Analyze data trends and metrics to inform business decisions including employee relations trends, turnover, and other key HR metrics
• Present and report on key HR metrics/data; Present to various groups in person and via video
• Be a driven individual contributor AND contribute to the success of the team as a whole
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table
• Minimum 7-10 years of HR Management experience - passion and strength in non-traditional/non-corporate environments strongly preferred
• Strong People instincts over prescriptive HR instincts
• Experience working with media or technology-focused companies is a plus
• Proven experience helping build out an HR infrastructure
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Knowledge and experience doing HR work for a global organization
• Experience and proven success in planning, leading, and implementing human resources initiatives and projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to act with integrity and confidentiality
• Proficiency with Slack, G Suite/Google Workspaces
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the current HRIS tools and assess effectiveness, recommend and research changes as needed, and lead implementation and training

Job Description

Cloud Services Engineer - Plex

In support of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Cloud Services Engineer to join our Plex Cloud Operations Department and help drive our continuous improvement culture. As a member of our Cloud Services team, you will play a key role in our transformation from monolithic to microservices architecture and adoption of open-source technologies. You will be responsible for supporting the application tier both in the private and public cloud. You will help us improve the reliability and delivery of our products through automation and auto remediation. You will ensure that issues are resolved in an organized manner as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Essential Functions
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to enable them to build our platform and expand it in a consistent and secure fashion
• Respond to application or security incidents alongside engineering, manage incidents to resolution by following established processes and provide root cause analysis
• Design/implement application monitoring and performance metrics/dashboards
• Maintain application automation runbooks
• Automate manual operations tasks and response to issues
• Assist and mentor teams in developing scalable, performant applications
• Provide continuous feedback to Product, Engineering and Cloud Operations team
• Participate in an on-call rotation

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required- we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, not now or in the future, for this job opening

Preferred Qualifications
• Typically requires 5+ years managing web servers and infrastructure administration experience
• Experience with Operations technologies including the following:
• Web Servers (IIS 10)
• Server Operating Systems (Windows Server, Linux)
• Strong Scripting Knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python, nice to have Selenium etc.)
• Public Cloud experience: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform
• Experience using and managing a variety of open source technologies and cloud services, ideally including the following:

• Load balancer experience (F5 LTM, Azure Load Balancer)

Responsibilities

Job Description
• Develop and maintain extraordinary relationships with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention while helping to grow our incremental revenue.
• Effectively renew all assigned accounts with favorable terms and conditions.

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
• 7+ years of consultative sales, business consulting and or account management. Proven track record in meeting/exceeding individual targets.
• Previous experience with a value based sales, "solution selling", target account sales, "the complex sales" or similar sales methodology.
• Proven success meeting and exceeding a sales quota.
• Previous contract negotiation/renewal experience a strong plus.
• Experience in ERP, particularly in the area of Manufacturing.
• Experience working with cloud/SaaS environment.
• Ability to manage multiple, concurrent client relationships.
• Previous experience leading/facilitating large groups in a business setting.
• Ability to anticipate change and adjust priorities accordingly.
• Ability and desire to independently interact with multi-functional Plex teams on a global basis.
• Familiarity with SFA tools SLX, Salesforce.com etc.
• Ability to work independently and mentor other members of the Customer Success team.
