• Supports the transformation of tasks into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs through the entire experience lifecycle, from the first-time user to the expert.
• Identifies and discovers customer and business needs through contextual inquiries, and generative and quantitative research, and identify solutions to meet those needs. Makes decisions of significant customer impact from wide array of possibilities, not limited to the Banking Industry.
• Executes visual, information, interaction, and service design elements of the initiative that meets business and customer needs and delights customers. Communicates the initiative and product to others (Team Members) through user journeys, storyboards, prototypes, wireframes, and other materials.
• Gauges the usability of new and existing products, and make constructive suggestions for change.
• Conducts research studies and present findings that will inform improvements in the customer experience.

As an Investment and Portfolio Specialist within PNC's Asset Management Group Investment Office, this is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

This analytics role will work with departments across PNC’s footprint, included PNC’s Investment Office, Portfolio Construction, Investment Advisor Research and Market Teams to deliver analytical reports in support of the Private Bank/Hawthorn line of business. This role will field a variety of requests including, but not limited to, back-testing hypothetical performance, portfolio statistics/exposures, attribution, performance, and peer comparison. This role will also assist in the training of Investment Advisors on the analytical tools for which they have direct access, particularly MSCI WealthBench and Morningstar Report Portal, so these tools can be fully utilized efficiently and possible by the Market Teams.

Preferred Skills
• BA/BS in a STEM related degree. Masters is a plus.
• Prior banking or investment operations/analytics/client reporting experience is helpful
• Expertise with MSCI WealthBench, Morningstar Direct and Factset strongly preferred

Job Description
• Independently performs advanced quantitative analyses and model development to drive decision-making by running quantitative strategies. Makes recommendations based on analyses.
• Analyzes and develops new model frameworks by supporting the line of business. Refines, monitors, and reviews existing models. Conducts on-going communication with model owners and model developers during the course of the review. Works with larger, more complex datasets to create models.
• Performs quantitative analysis and develops complex reports. Performs qualitative and quantitative assessments of all aspects of models including theoretical aspects, model design and implementation as well as data quality and integrity. Analyzes complex data and associated quantitative analysis. Makes recommendations based on findings from data analytics.
• Uses quantitative tools and techniques to measure and analyze model risks and reaches conclusions on strengths and limitations of the model.
• Prepares and analyzes detailed documents for validation and regulatory compliance, using applicable templates.
