In partnership with the Wellness team, you will be responsible for:
• Overseeing daily and monthly content strategy, working closely with PS SEO, Editorial Operations, and Breaking News teams to do so
• Exercising sound judgment on Wellness coverage, resulting in content that drives traffic and engagement
• Driving site traffic growth in line with daily and monthly traffic goals
• Bringing new, intersectional perspectives to POPSUGAR with original, impactful content
• Providing direct feedback on content and overall performance, on both a micro and macro level, to help editors and writers improve their writing, framing, pitching, and time management skills
• This includes: regular 1-1s with direct reports; editing their work daily
• Launching and maintaining Wellness franchises and initiatives that showcase PS leadership
• Attending daily or weekly site meetings, pitching ideas, and weighing in on other ideas
• Editing and scheduling Wellness content from other contributors
• Evening, weekend, and offsite work is occasionally required as needed
• Editing 3-8 articles a day; writing articles as needed (~1-3 a week)
• Working closely with PS social, partnerships, and marketing teams on distribution strategies, with an eye on audience growth
WHO YOU ARE
Our ideal candidate is a Wellness enthusiast who loves to stay on top of the latest Wellness trends, with a proven track record of mentoring a staff of editors and writers
• 8-10 years of experience in digital media, at least 5 years managing a team, preferably in the health and wellness space
• Solid experience setting content strategy

In order to thrive in this role, you must have 5
years of experience in digital media, preferably in the health and wellness space Experience setting content strategy, managing a team and sound SEO strategy An interest in and dedication to covering broad viewpoints, cultures, and experiences Experience optimizing content for search Strong writing and communication skills A healthy obsession with social media Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, collaborative team environment Ability to stay ahead of trends and adapt to a constantly changing digital landscape Experience managing a team, inclusive of delegating responsibilities, managing performance, supporting growth and development, and providing meaningful feedback.
