Delivery Coordinator
The Post-Crescent
$15.00 per hour / $.65 per mile (mileage reimbursement)
The Post-Crescent is seeking a part-time Dock Worker / Distribution Coordinator to work at our distribution center in Kimberly.
The position ensures that all paperwork and newspapers are distributed and completed in a timely and effective manner to ensure that distributors provide the best possible service to our subscribers by the delivery deadline.
The Delivery Coordinator is professional with well-developed people skills, dependable with a strong work ethic, and able to make decisions based on sound judgment.
This is a part-time position that requires working early mornings 1am-5am 3 days a week to average 15 hours per week . Rotation includes bi-weekly rotation of Sunday and some holidays.
Key activities :
• Compile route information.
• Deliver complaints, as required.
• Aid in the distribution of newspaper to the Independent Contractors.
• Deliver routes as needed.
• Maintain a clean and secure warehouse and parking lot.
• Retrieve newspapers from print facility for shortages, as needed.
• Verify addresses with service issues when requested.
• Assists the District Managers with the day-to-day operations.
