• Work cross-functionally to proactively maintain Postman’s compliance with global privacy, data protection, & cyber security laws & frameworks
• Draft, negotiate, & maintain data processing & other privacy-related agreements, policies, & related-documentation
• Review customer privacy & information security terms & act as the subject matter expert on customer calls
• Advise the company on a wide-range of regulatory, compliance, privacy & cybersecurity matters & provide requisite trainings
• Collaborate closely with security & product team members to operationalize privacy & cybersecurity initiatives

• Engage in relevant thought leadership
• Provide legal support with security incidents

About You
• Juris Doctor degree or equivalent with a license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• 4+ years of relevant experience with privacy & data protection issues, in-house experience preferred
• Expertise analyzing, applying, & operationalizing global privacy regimes (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) & data security standards
• Experience negotiating privacy & information security terms in technology, vendor, & service provider agreements
• Experience counseling on cybersecurity legal issues, including incident response
• Passion for data privacy & a desire to stay up-to-date on all relevant global developments & trends
• A CIPP certification preferably

About The Team
