Purpose of the role
We are looking for a Head of Product to lead the evolution of some of our products (Proton Mail and Calendar). Product at Proton sits at the intersection of Engineering, Growth, Data and Design. Your responsibility will be to grow daily active users by creating remarkable user experiences for our community.
What you will do
• Define and execute a strategic vision for the product across all platforms (iOS, Android, Web, Desktop).
• Define what success looks like in terms of engagement, retention, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Facilitate hand-in-hand collaboration between product, engineering, growth and marketing to align on the vision and the execution.
• Lead the teams through execution. See through the fog of war and know where to go and what needs to be done quickly and decisively. Troubleshoot and solve problems involving multiple teams inside and outside of product.
• Hire, lead, inspire and coach a product organization across all seniority levels. Grow and develop our future product leaders. Be the product leader people look up to.
• Drive product innovation, develop novel, game-changing product features. Ensure that we are building, shipping and supporting the right products.
• Set high quality standards for code and design.
• Set the pace for the teams, help them to overcome blockers and execute faster.
Job requirements
• 10-15 yearsof experience with both web and mobile platforms, particularly in theB2C context.
• Strategic leader with an analytical and data-driven mindset, with a track record for delivering products and features on time and with commercial success.
• Strong empathy for the customer, user-centric mindset, and an unwillingness to lower standards.
• A strong innate sense for good UX, with a love for design.
• Experience building and managing high-performing teams.
• A work ethic of going above and beyond to make things happen.
Ability to be hands-on and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep technical acumen, able to contribute to technical decisions.
