Job Responsibilities:

This position is based in New York.
• Travelling required (domestic/international)
• Manage and cultivate existing accounts
• Provide daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual territory analyses
• Prospect for new clients and partnerships
• Use social media and e-mail marketing to drive sales
• Deliver high-quality proposals and presentations to prospects and clients

Experience/Skills:
• 4-year degree required
• 1-2 years of prior experience in sales, particularly in a B2B environment
• Knowledge of the book publishing industry
• Experience with common customer relationship management software and platforms
• Exceptional networking, planning, selling and time management skills
• Proven ability to develop and deliver effective presentations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong skill set for navigating and monetizing social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
• Competency in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
• Proficient in working with Google Drive: Sheets, Forms, Docs, etc.
• Knowledge of Web: Content Management System, CSS, WordPress, HTML (a plus)
