As a Partnerships Manager, this is what you’ll be doing:

The Partnerships Manager (North America) is responsible for managing relationships with our portfolio of North American College & University partners. This includes prospecting and signing up new university partners, negotiating student success fees, ongoing account management, escalating admissions queries, and designing and presenting curated marketing and student recruitment opportunities. They would work closely with the Partnerships Director (UK Europe & Canada) and the VP of QS Apply to develop priorities and successful engagement strategies.

To be a key member of the university partnership team for QS’ student recruitment division, QS Apply, and to support ongoing successful relationships with recruitment partner colleges and universities. This role includes on-boarding new partner universities, liaising with universities about accurate content for the QS admissions platform, recording and negotiating admissions requirements and admissions deadlines, understanding financial aid and merit scholarships opportunities for international applicants, training regional QS recruitment staff, and launching new partners to multiple recruitment regions and channels.

This role will be the product expert for key university accounts in North America and will be the point person between the university stakeholders and the global QS student recruitment team. The successful candidate will focus on building strong relationships within our existing university portfolio and actively support new business development to drive targeted opportunities with North American universities

To manage new and existing QS Apply’s university partnerships in North America, arrange training sessions for the QS student recruitment teams, be the main POC for Canadian and select high priority US university partners, coordinate commission and admissions arrangements, provide North American universities with application data, regional events schedules and support North American marketing and sales.

Key responsibilities include:
• Building strong relationships with international offices in Canada and with high priority US university accounts
• Ownership of the onboarding process for new partner universities including information for the QS portal, organizing regional training sessions, and supporting the go to market strategy for high priority clients
• Liaise with University partners about admissions processes and requirements and escalate individual student cases when required
• Having a regular communication cadence with high priority university partners to review marketing activities, admissions pipeline and priorities, travel plans, counsellor training sessions, and other opportunities or pain points
• Work with the finance team on billing and collecting enrolment fees at the conclusion of each intake
• Work with partner universities to ensure accurate information is available to our student users, recruitment partners, QS enrolment managers, QS websites and other properties

Key skills and experience:
• Experience of working in Higher Education, preferably in the field of international student recruitment (Essential)
• Experience of working with US and Canadian institutions for international student recruitment (Desirable)
• Demonstrated experience in account management (Essential)
• Experience in business development, securing new business, and sales (Essential)
• Personal experience studying in the US or Canada as an international student is a plus (Desirable)
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject (postgraduate qualification preferred), or equivalent experience (Essential)
• English (Fluent) (Essential) and a second language (eg Spanish) (Desirable)

• Issue variation instructions based on scope of works & other contractual documentation for multiple projects.
• Value completed work and arrange payments to subcontractors.
• Analyse progress and write detailed reports.
• Any other duties that may reasonably be required of you.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial QS, preferably in the Telecoms industry.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with an ability to work with complex data sets using the CEMAR platform.
• Experience in contract administration and procurement using the CEMAR platform.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in cost forecasting and budget management.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

Fully office based, Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm with 1 hour of lunchbreak
