The Opportunity
Under the direction of the Streaming Marketing Director, the Retention Marketing Manager is responsible for email marketing strategy; including planning, coordination, forecasting & communication of all components of the email program – calendar, triggered and transactional. This includes strategizing the calendar, managing, and allocating the workload among multiple direct reports, monitoring weekly sales projections and results, coordinating & speaking to the decision-making of email plans/strategies to multiple levels. Your Impact
• Partner with the Direct Streaming Marketing to develop the execution of the email and push marketing calendars using programming, category, customer, and promotional inputs to build campaigns that promote customer engagement and spend
• Educate and deliver strategy and direction for monthly campaigns to implementing team
• Create unique offer/story strategy to take advantage of trends and campaign opportunities
• Educate internal partners & leaders, at all levels, on the fundamentals of the Email Marketing strategy along with 'why' or' why not' a request can be completed
• Lead monthly strategy meetings with important partners like QVC & HSN eCommerce, merchandising, creative, social and customer service to maximize our campaigns and ensure we are supporting the business
• Lead the onboarding of an ESP - maximize opportunities and work with IT partners to enhance program capabilities
• Use customer behavior data, historic performance data and other analytics to improve strategic plans
• Partner with Campaign Management team to review segmentation strategy each week and make changes to the calendar based on discussions
• Seek new opportunities and testing to further use Email and support corporate plans
• Monitor KPIs to hit sales targets and look for optimizations to make progress; this includes sessions, sales, open rate, CTR, RPE, opt-ins and opt-outs and deliverability metrics
• Manage monthly email/ push campaign project management and execution
• Delegate appropriate levels of decision-making, responsibility, and independence when assigning and reviewing work
What You Bring
• 4+ years' experience in an email or merchandising/planning/selling strategies environment, or equivalent combination of training and experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Merchandising or related field
• Experience communicating decisions across all levels
• Experience managing large-scale projects across multiple lines of the business
• Must be creative and have analytical experience
• Must exhibit customer focus, good time management skills, a professional demeanor and positive attitude
• Problem solving and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
For New York City based roles only: The annual gross base salary range for this position is $93,000 - $148,000. Salary ranges are general guideline only, and actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience and geographic location as well as business and market conditions. Your Impact
• Assist in identifying, developing, and negotiating products/price/terms; buy and execute new products, concepts, shows and ideas that will deliver sales results across our multi-platforms.
• Responsible for item and purchase order creation, maintenance, and monitoring warehouse processing.
• Accountable for processing product through the quality assurance and claims process.
• Responsible for daily office functions including business reporting and analysis.
• Communicate with internal teams and our vendor community to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of product lifecycle activities and ensure product is ready for their go-live date.
• Learn and understand the customer and the connection with her.
• Ability to work with others in a dynamic team environment, express your creative and original views and follow through with a demonstrated sense of urgency.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Track and process Buyer’s samples received from vendors.
What You Bring
• Currently enrolled in a college or university
• Able to work 20 hours
• Completed at least 4 semesters
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

The Multi-Platform Buying Interns support the work of the Buying Offices. QVC welcomes creative and analytical minds to immerse themselves within teams across our portfolio of brands. Interns receive a paid, hands-on learning experience that revolves around buying through a love of storytelling. Our immersive program offers interns engaging events, small group exposure to leadership, insight into company initiatives and even a chance for a full-time job opportunity.
