Job Purpose
This role will be situated in the Content SEO team, working across Spotlight Sports Group’s affiliate B2B partnerships in the Sports Betting & Gaming industry in the US. Your role as SEO Content Specialist will be to support the Commercial Content team through the planning and optimisation of transactional content designed specifically to convert users. You will be responsible for keyword research, writing content optimisation specifications, and analysing performance to identify actionable, data-driven insights to grow visibility in search.
Key accountabilities:
• Support the delivery of the SEO & Commercial Content Strategy to drive incremental traffic and conversion
• Conduct keyword research, categorise into topical clusters and track performance over time to analyse performance
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify keyword gaps and new opportunities for growth
• Analyse SERP performance and identify opportunities for both quick and long term wins
• Optimise on-site elements across the site including Header tags, metadata, internal links and schema markup
• Regular reporting of core KPIs including search performance, keyword rankings, site visibility improvements and conversion metrics.
Requirements
• An all-round knowledge of major US sporting events
• Knowledge and experience of the US Sports Betting industry
• Previous experience within an SEO role, with a strong understanding of on-site SEO
• Up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practice

Accountabilities:
• Develop B2B partnerships within sports to deliver contracted value (profit) to Spotlight Sports Group from affiliate led media partnerships and fixed fee product or software sales.
• Proactively manage a front-end customer pipeline split by business sector, utilising the group CRM tool to provide forecasting and accurate marketplace insight at all times.
• Manage and take responsibility over market leading standards in all sales materials, such as proposals, partnership decks and presentations.
• Identify viable revenue growth opportunities and create business cases from partnerships to be approved by management.
• Develop outstanding external relationships and hold responsibility over the management of the full sales process in order to contract new, profitable business for Spotlight Sports Group across all relevant sales channels.
• Regular travel within North America in order to pursue and close relevant commercial opportunities.
• Conduct yourself in a professional and effective manner reflecting the high standards of integrity and service associated with Spotlight Sports Group.
