The School of Nursing at Radford University invites applications for a Full-Time Special Purpose 9-month Instructor/Assistant Professor position at Radford University’s Radford, Virginia main campus location. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, and service with expectations of recent clinical practice. Experience in Gerontology and Medical-Surgical experience is required. Prior experience teaching Nursing in the classroom, the skills laboratory, the health assessment laboratory, online, and in clinical settings is desired. This position requires clinical teaching in addition to lecture responsibilities. Preference will be given to those applicants with the education, certification, extensive leadership and clinical experience, and the desire to teach in the classroom and in the clinical setting for the undergraduate programs.

• Assists in collecting, compiling and analyzing international student and scholar data for effective decision-making by the McGlothlin Center for Global Education and Engagement, and for reporting to regulatory agencies.

• Update and develop appropriate content for the ISSS section of the office website.

Required Qualifications

1. Advanced degree; or Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated experience and/or equivalent training that equates to an advanced degree.
