Throughout the blog posts, the YouTube videos are then embedded where relevant, along with helpful images as necessary.
The blog post creation process will look like this:
Before we start on the first blog post, I'll share some of our writing so you can get an idea of our company's tone.
Then...
1. I'll share a blog post title, plus keywords and phrases to include throughout, as well as specific YouTube videos to use when writing the post. I may also include external links to reference throughout the post.
2. You'll use your creative writing skills to write a 2,500+ word blog post that takes the information from the videos and conveys it to the reader in an informative, helpful, and easy-to-read way.
3. You'll decide where the videos should be embedded throughout the blog post. If an image would help enhance the post (a screenshot from a how-to video, or an image from a website, for example), you'll also create/find the image and include that.
4. You'll return the blog post to me for potential feedback for revisions, and once finalized, we'll add it to our website.
Who we're looking for:
- You're well-spoken and have a knack for simplifying sometimes complicated or technical topics.
- You have up to date SEO knowledge and know how to include keywords in blog posts to help them rank.
- You can use our existing content to help you understand and match our company's tone.
- You're a perfectionist when it comes to grammar and spelling.
- You have previous experience transforming YouTube videos into new, unique blog posts.
- You're comfortable writing about apps and tech (without this, the blog posts tend to need quite a bit of revising)
I'd like to create the first blog post within the next 2 weeks, and then continue from there on a monthly basis if it's a fit. Each blog post will pay $150.
