What will you do?
• Lead and manage the Cash and Lending Services Operations teams to ensure overall performance meets or exceeds the established industry, regulatory and company standards for service, efficiencies, innovation and professionalism for the following functional teams:
• Cash Management Services: Wire Transfer, Check & ACH Processing
• Money Market and Bank Deposit Sweep Operations
• Margin
• Securities Based Lending (SBL)
• Manage departments’ budget, financial forecasts, staffing models, department metric tracking and compensation administration.
• Lead the development, recommendations and execution of business plans for the departments’.
• Partner with business leaders to enable future growth, efficiencies and exemplary service.
• Represent Cash and Lending Services at specific SBL and Operations’ committees and meetings (Operations Town Hall, SBL Town Hall, RMC, CMC, SBL Exco, and OCC meetings).
• Ensure adherence to US Wealth Management and NY Bank Branch procedures and policies, completed accurately and within service level agreements and regulatory guidelines.
• Execute assigned responsibilities; ensuring processes are performed according to prescribed regulations and established policies and procedures.
• Maintain in depth knowledge of BCP procedures, policies and department plans.
• Provide training, coaching, recognition and development for team members; fostering teamwork and planning for succession.
• Oversee complex exception-based and/or highly specialized department deliverables and processes to ensure controls are effectively managing work quality, mitigating risk and aligned to banking and brokerage regulations as applicable.
• Ensure adherence to outsource SLA agreement between Operations and the NY Bank Branch; while confirming procedures and policies are followed by the team, completed accurately and within service level agreement and requisite regulatory guidelines
• Prioritize and drive technical innovation to support straight through processing, self-service field capabilities, risk mitigation, expense reduction and service excellence. Monitor implementation and effectiveness of new Technology solutions to ensure successful implementations. Ensure your team in involved and aligned with the change strategy
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
• 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 10+ years of securities, banking, technology and/or job specific industry experience
• Securities license 27, or 99 (or able to obtain license within 120 days)
• 7+ years securities based lending operations, cash management operations, project management, vendor management, analysis, and/or risk control experience
• 7+ years demonstrated leadership experience managing large teams in change oriented environments

Job Description
What is the opportunity?
This individual will be responsible for providing leadership to the RBC Clearing & Custody Technology Training Team; ensuring quality deliverables are met with measured results and implementing effective strategies for internal and external customers learning and development needs.
What will you do?
• People Management – Coach, mentor and develop the technology training team to achieve training goals. Onboard new trainers and provide ongoing coaching of all applications and our method of providing a consistent superior training experience.

Must-have
