About the role:

Trusted Media Brands is seeking an experienced Production Studio Coordinator to support the growing needs of our Physical Production Department and Studio Operations. The Production Studio Coordinator plays a crucial role for department administration, organization and communication to all our teams. The role will also be responsible for logistical planning and execution of all our creative content, as well as managing all in-house production resources, studio facilities and general administration of all studio assets.

About you:

The Production Studio Coordinator will assist the day-to-day needs of all production efforts from development through delivery as well as general administrative, studio operations and financial admin support. The ideal candidate will have on-set experience and a strong understanding of Production workflow; experience with Camera, Lighting and Technical Equipment, either as a Gear Coordinator, Camera PA or the like, is preferred.

This position will report to the Production Manager and is based in our Los Angeles office.

Your day-to-day:
• Preparing all new hire paperwork from the onboarding form to the full start paperwork packet and saving all completed onboarding paperwork to necessary folders and drives
• Fulfilling duties as a Production Assistant/Coordinator both on set and in the pre-production lead up and wrap, including but not limited to equipment planning, prop rentals, catering and any runs that may be necessary - a car is essential
• Prep and report all contractor timecards and payroll
• Requesting budget codes from Finance Department
• Schedule / manage all kick-off meetings for new series
• Manage all production rentals, purchases and travel as needed
• Sourcing locations, booking external studios and securing location permits as needed
• Creating and distributing call sheets
• Tracking, sending and filing all properly completed production releases & receipts
• Wrapping out each project and ensuring all paperwork is accounted for
• Receiving, requesting and creating invoices and processing management approvals
• Ensure all invoices, costs, payroll are routed to the Production Managers for tracking
• Properly organizing, labeling, and storing invoices, W-9s and crew memo deals
• Full ownership and management of all in-house production assets (camera, audio, lighting)
• Consistent upkeep of all in-house gear along with repair / upgrade recommendations.
• Maintain check out system for all in-house production assets
• Manage studio space, including booking, preparation and wrap out
• Source vendors for production studio needs and gear requests based on timeline and budget expectations
• Lead contact for any studio rental clients – establishing clear parameters, options positive end result for all outside client

You have:
• 1-2 years' experience in production both in the field and on a network or production company level
• Excellent problem-solving creativity and a can-do attitude
• Highly organized and strong attention to details is an absolute must
• Knowledge of standard production and post workflows
• Strong communication skills, and ability to juggle multiple projects at one time
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment simultaneously working on several projects in various points of production (from development through delivery)
• Well-developed Microsoft Office & Google Suite skills preferred
• Knowledge of Showbiz Budgeting is preferred, but not essential

Salary Range: $50-55k
