Business Intelligence Analyst will be expected to gather, interrogate, and leverage data across multiple platforms both internally and externally in order to develop insights that will assist management with making better business decisions. You will be expected to extract and analyze data from multiple, disparate data sources to expose and understand trends as well as create conclusions with actionable steps based on the data. You will create dashboards that can be used to drive outcomes and decisions that drive business value is a critical component of this role. You will be expected to use various tools, techniques, and methods to increase insight into the business, with the ability to present findings clearly to executive leadership. You will collaborate and build relationships across multiple areas of the organization and teams to facilitate delivery of meaningful solutions.
Requirements
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with, analyze, and understand large amounts of data.
• 8 - 10 years of experience in data visualization and data presentation and analyzing data for trends.
• Extensive hands-on experience with PowerBI is required.
• Extensive experience extracting and analyzing data from multiple data sources, create dashboards and see and forecast trends.
• Strategic thinking and planning regarding design decisions for the build out of a data science program and team.
• Must have strong communication skills and experience meeting directly with management teams and executives to understand business challenges/issues, and be able to translate those requirements into data analytics.
• Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills with the ability to understand trends and create conclusions based on findings in data.
• Analytical programming skills and data modeling experience using a variety of modeling techniques.
• Must be familiar with good development methodologies and data modeling
• Assist in development of business requirements documentation and user acceptance test (UAT) execution.
• Completion of ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by the Manager.
• Must have experience in the insurance industry
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

• With this role being remote, this consultant must have a track record of working
