About the role

In the role of Events Manager, you will:
• Lead the event process end-to-end, including event strategy, development and implementation, for a specific country or regional location and/or a specific segment or region
• Work with internal stakeholders to create and develop a strategic overview for the business and work towards executing plan to drive commercial success.
• Work with external customers to achieve their strategic event objectives
• Identify event opportunities across the segments or business
• Manage the team and provide a direction and leadership to assigned teams

About You

You’re a fit for the role if you have:
• 10+ years in revenue targeted event management and / or conference producing
• Skills in managing, mentoring and empowering a small team of events professionals.
• Strong skills in negotiation, budgeting and ensuring profitability and revenue targets are reached
• Good skills in researching trends and potential speakers
• Solid metrics skills and post event analysis.
