• Work on VRU's and gas lift

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintenance of equipment associated with gas liquefaction and production facilities
• Working directly with vendors to resolve rotating equipment/parts issues

Skills / Qualifications

Responsibilities
To provide installation, repairs and routine servicing of remedial service packers, completion tools and other rental equipment in the shop and in the field. Help generate business to increase revenues through sales of Weatherford products and services. This is the intermediate level job for Field Specialist, who have a demanding, hands-on job that makes use of the latest technologies to deliver solutions for our clients. Acts to manage field crews whenever necessary. They are trained and certified to maintain and run Special Services operations, among others. Acquires and develops broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice area. Applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform tasks for conventional products. Exercises limited judgment. Works on small projects or portions of larger projects. Assists on other tasks, or performs moderate design tasks. The Site is located in the Pittsburgh, PA area (Monaca, PA). Not only have we built a world-class asset, but also, building a world-class asset organization. The Site has a combined Engineering and Maintenance Organization consisting of: Engineering, Maintenance, Projects, and Turnarounds. The SPM (Shell Polymer Monaca) Plant will be a world-scale petrochemical plant in Western Pennsylvania that upgrades locally produced ethane from Marcellus and Utica shale formations gas production to make polyethylene. The petrochemical complex will consist of a world-scale Ethane Cracker Unit (ECU), multiple polyethylene (PE) units, PE logistics and Utilities and General... project expenditure to enable robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle.
Supports senior members of the cost team through the preparation and reporting of project cost budgets, ensuring budgets and reports are prepared to the required level of detail and accuracy in accordance with contractual requirements and Wood policies, procedures and standards.
This will typically involve the
review, analysis and reporting of actual and forecasted project costs against the project approved budget.
Skills / Qualifications
Assist and support in the development and maintenance of Project Work Breakdown Structure
(WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) for specific scopes
• Liaise with other Project Controls disciplines and functions, assist and support in the development
of project budgets in accordance with the Basis of Estimate including statements of work scope,
assumptions, man-hour estimates, narratives and review & comment of client documents
• Liaise with procurement, finance and time-capture functions, and third parties as required, to
ensure accurate and timely capture of procurement, materials, subcontract and labour manhour
costs. Ensure costs are allocated accurately in accordance with approved project WBS
• Liaise with engineering, procurement and construction functions, and others as required, to
maintain awareness of project activities and their impact on the project budget, schedule and cost
forecast.
• Facilitate and manage the project work approval process in terms of accurate cost code allocation
and initial budget set-up and approvals

• Fluent and expert in reading and interpreting P&ID's, Piping Isometrics and Production Flow Diagrams
• Gas compression equipment
• Rotating equipment
• Process flow equipment, gas and oil pipeline systems
• Operations and maintenance of production facilities
• Leak testing (HeN)
• Lube oil flushing, chemical flushing of production systems
• Report writing and records maintenance
• Permit to Work System
• Project management skills; cost, time and project scope
• Occupational hazards, standard safety procedures and safe work practices
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
• 10 + years' experience with at minimum 5 years' on site commissioning experience.
• BSc - Engineering (required) in specific discipline
• O&G Commissioning and Start-Up/SC Experience (5+ years)
• Offshore GOM or International Project Experience in Engineering Lead Role
