QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required
• 3-7 years of work experience.
• Previous e-commerce experience, specifically with Amazon
• Ability to gain Salesforce.com and Microsoft Dynamics AX proficiency rapidly with adequate training.
• A true desire to solve problems and support customers.

Preferred

SALARY RANGE

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Lead Developer, ERP has a very good understanding of X++ development, knows how to ensure the integrity of ERP business data, and the ability to follow Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations best practices. This position reports to the IT Director and will primarily assist our product team with the design, development, implementation, and support of strategic business solutions in our Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations environment. The developer works collaboratively with the technical and business-facing ERP support teams to maintain and improve IT services.

As a response to the pandemic, Roland Foods office employees have transitioned to a hybrid working schedule, requiring employees to report in-person Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to telework on Monday and Friday each week. Due to the collaborative, cross-functional nature of the organization, employees at the NY and NJ offices are required to work in person for the abovementioned days, outside of any People & Culture-approved disability accommodation request.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, and implement customizations and extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations
• Perform code reviews in adherence to D365 best practices; provide guidance and support to application developers
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand evolving business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Analyze current technical solutions to identify opportunities for improvement and increased sustainability
• Understand and optimize databases and concepts, including logical DB schemas, physical table structures, data attributes, SQL, and general data integrity
• Assist with debugging and unit testing technical solutions.
• Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required
• 5+ years of Dynamics AX/ 365 for Finance and Operations development experience
• 5+ years of functional ERP experience in Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL, including development and reporting (SSRS)
• Strong understanding of Azure DevOps, code branching, and SDLC best practices
• Experience with EDI systems

Preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Power Platform integrations and Pipelines are a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and D365 APIs and integrations.
• Understanding of Lifecycle Services, as well as cloud-based development and deployment.

SALARY RANGE

Roland Foods hires exceptional people to perform a wide variety of important functions that contribute to the success of the Company. One of the ways Roland Foods does that is through a competitive compensation package. The base salary for this role will be $120,000 - $150,000.
