Your Impact:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Implementation Project Manager to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will manage a key implementation project that will drive significant technology change. As a Software Roll Out Manager, you are a part of a dynamic team that makes a positive impact.

• Work with a PMO group to manage the implementation and phased rollout of new systems.
• Partner and collaborate with other Implementation Project Managers on the project to ensure planned activities and tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met.
• Identify and plan project schedules, including project milestones/phases. Define all activities necessary to acquire project goals and objectives. Coordinates activities with the project team and stakeholders, and monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving blockers and publishing progress reports.
• Direct projects from initial phases through completion, including identifying and securing resources, establishing charters, and coordinating activities related to data migration, training and change management for implementation projects.
• Monitor project success, assessing any deviation from initial plans and reporting on impact to project performance. Recommend ways to improve project success and create plans for continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with colleagues and contractors to strengthen the IT team’s partnership with the organization.

Typical salary range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Previous project management, infrastructure and/or related information technology experience
• Proficient knowledge of software implementation methodology (including change management)
• Strong project management skills
• Outstanding planning and organizational skills; ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking and quantitative analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills as well as strong presentation skills
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize
• Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented and self-motivated approach to work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
• Experience with New York area transit agencies
