The role
We are looking for a Test Engineer who will be a part of our professional Agile test team and who will be working closely with the DevOps team.
Working within the DevOps team (which also includes software developers, solutions/software architects, site reliability engineers and database administrators), you will get the opportunity to work across the different product development teams of the RSC publishing business.
We are currently embarking on a period of growth and will be creating new product development teams to focus on different customer journeys across our Journals publishing lifecycle. Your role will be to develop and support test automation solutions (following our test automation framework) and be responsible for testing our software products, contributing to our goals for a shift-left testing culture, push-on-green continuous deployment and end-to-end test automation
What we are looking for:
• Practical experience in software testing in Agile environment and understanding of testing processes and test life cycle
• Experience in exploratory testing
• Technically proficient with C# for writing and debugging automated test scripts preferably using Selenium
• Experience of working in fast paced Agile/DevOps environments, familiar with Scrum/Kanban
